The senior reflections: first, make sure you asked the right question

"What will you do for Fredonia Volleyball that will last after you're gone?" ~Senior preseason reflection question

After collecting our players' preseason reflections, I noticed that the three seniors gave more interesting, thoughtful responses than everyone else.

Was it because they're the oldest? Or maybe because they're all captains? Both ideas, though convenient, are wrong.

During our first captain's meeting, when I commented on how good their answers were, Megan Collins simply said, "Well, it was a good question."

In was a timely reminder that in a society obsessed with finding the right answer, first make sure you've asked the right question.
