Senior Night!

Our wonderful trio of Seniors!!

Last night we started the goodbye process for three treasured players: Kaitlin Orcutt, Lauren O'Hara, and Hannah Manning. All three have put in four years of hard, dedicated work toward making our volleyball program the best it can be, and just one night of recognition seems insufficient. The influence the've had on our younger players has been invaluable and their legacy will carry on for years to come.

The secondary story of the night: We played a match against Penn St. Behrend, shooting for our 12th straight victory. Although we won three matches over the weekend, our play needed to improve to generate positive momentum heading into SUNYACs. Behrend is 7-0 in their conference and 19-7 overall, so we'd have good competition for our seniors to complete their careers. Our serving unit played a touch match and kept their offense off-base all evening. While Behrend mounted several intimidating attacks, they couldn't do it consistently enough to beat us... we took the match in three sets: 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

The best part was that KO got the final kill to put the exclamation point on her final home match.
