The late night match was against D'Youville. The Devils started slow but won in four sets 20-25, 25-7, 25-12, 25-15. Brianne Paganello had 8 kills with no errors and hit .571%. Mere had 7 kills (.375%), Paulina 10 and Linds 13. Hokaj and P led the defense with 14 and 10 digs respectively.
Saturday morning we defeated SUNYIT 25-19, 24-26, 25-12, 25-15. K.O. led with 9 kills, P led with 17 digs and Kelly contributed everywhere with 6 kills, 32 assists and 11 digs. "Han Man" earned 8 kills and 4 blocks.
The final match of the weekend was against Keystone College and we made quick work of the Giants winning 25-10, 25-10, 25-8. In the match Kaitlin Orcutt set a new school record for aces in a match with 12. Nine of which came in an impressive run in the second set. Lindsey and Kaitlin had a team high 7 kills and Bridget added 3. Kelly had 4 kills, served 5 aces and had 20 assists.
Our overall serve receive was a solid 2.33 on the weekend. The weekend sweep brought us back to 6-7 overall. We are all itching to get above .500 (and stay there) at SUNYAC Pool Play next weekend at Geneseo.
