Thoughts of a photographer

Dan Senn, the father of senior Chelsea Senn, has been more than just a supportive member of the Fredonia State Volleyball family. In the past four years, he has taken countless photos of the athletes in every setting. He photographed all of our matches, events, family gatherings and banquets. While Sundays were our off days, Mr. Senn spent his time developing film and putting together photo albums for the team to enjoy.  Often he created personalized albums for each individual on the team.  The memories that he captured will always live with us and we cannot thank him enough for all his time and effort.  Dan also wanted to post the following statement.

"In four years, I have watched you through the camera's eye and the eyes of a father. We as parents watched you grow into great volleyball players but also into exceptional young women. You are all our daughters and you have shown us the highest qualities and character over the past four years.

You have given us some of the most exciting memories of our lives and when you came in as freshman you joined a good team and helped make it great. I remember the hair on the back of my neck stood up when you walked onto the floor of the NCAA tournament. The most exciting sporting event I ever witnessed was your march to the NCAA sweet sixteen.

You are what all of the future Fredonia Volleyball teams will aspire to be. Your opponents have tried to match you but could not.  The only regret I have is that I did not have concession on all the ice you all used over the years!  The seniors should be proud of yourselves because you "made a difference." As parents, we were there through the exciting times and the tears. THANK YOU. It was an honor and a privilege that you allowed me to photograph your remarkable careers.  Put the world on notice... here come our girls!"

You know the drill,
Dan Senn
