We earned a 3-1 win against Medaille at home last night in front of a crowd of about 140 fans. Jenny Newhouse and Reanne Sansone set the tone and opened up the match with 4 blocks against Medaille's best outside hitter in the first six points. Defensively, Jenny finished the match with 6 total blocks and Reanne had 5 while Zureck led with a team high 13 digs and Mick had 7. Lindsey led the balanced offense with 12 kills. Reanne had 9, Emily 7, Jenny 5, and Lauren 4 kills. Lauren and Heather both filled in due to an injury and performed very well. Brittany had 25 assists and 11 digs while Jess contributed 8 assists and seven digs.
After the match, Zureck is 38 digs away from becoming Fredonia's all-time leader in digs. Go Zesus!!!
