The 2015 schedule explained

All of our players understand that winning conference games is important, but most don't understand right away how to make it to the NCAA tournament. Here's a five-sentence explanation of how NCAA seeding works, and why it's important to understand before looking at the schedule below:

The guaranteed way to make it to the NCAA tournament is to win your conference, for us the SUNYAC. Each conference winner around the country gets an automatic berth to the tournament. The rest come from "at large bids", which are awarded to other top-ranked teams in each region. Fredonia plays in the New York region, which is comprised of 68 teams (we finished 7th in 2014). In order to be "regionally ranked", you must win against the best teams in each region.

For example, Fredonia Lacrosse lost in the SUNYAC finals to Cortland this year, so did not receive an automatic berth to NCAA's. However, by finishing second in the region, they received an at-large bid.

Below is our 2015 schedule. If a team was regionally ranked in 2014 it is noted in bold. Teams fall in and out of the rankings each year, but it should give a feel for the most important games on the schedule, apart from SUNYAC's:
