No matter who we play, how far we travel or weather conditions, we still have an outstanding fan club! Our fan club is extremely impressive, in numbers, noise, generosity and love.
They spoil us every weekend by bringing an excessive arrangement of food, drinks, and treats for us to snack on. Every week we are fed like queens; weather its the Edingers signature cheese sticks, frozen Go-gerts, and Sunny D's or Mr. Reins famous chicken riggies or Mrs. Poirier's amazing chocolate cookies, we eat like champions. Some families have even graciously hosted the whole team for dinner.
Going to one of my teammates house is always my favorite. We get to see where she lives, meet her pets and if we are really lucky we will come across some embarrassing photos from her childhood. Not only do we get fed amazingly but every now and then we receive little gifts!
At the beginning of the season Mr. and Mrs. Poirier gave every girl on the team, Coach and RyRy their own sweat towel with our last name, number, and the Fredonia Volleyball logo embroidered on it! I can personally say I put that towel to excellent use.
Just recently we spent Halloween on the road and the parents surprised all of us with a Halloween bag filled with candy, games, and glow sticks! We have also received cards in the mail from Mrs. Edinger's class wishing us good luck in our games. We have actually received some of our best advice from one of Mrs. Edinger's students... “Good luck out there because being hard core is better then being yourself.”

This past weekend marked the second time we made the treacherous eight-hour trip to New Paltz this
season. Just like always the parents arrived on time with pounds of food, ready to cheer. Not only do our parents travel every weekend but multiple parents of graduates and alumni of the program have traveled to come see us play!
Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, roommates, friends, and alumni all turn out and show there love and support for the volleyball team! I know I speak for my teammates when I say we truly appreciate your support! We have the best fans in the SUNYAC!!!!
